“Fight With Elegance” would like to extend an invitation to the community and all businesses to become a part of our fundraiser for breast cancer, helping to raise money for this “Noteworthy Cause”.
We will be holding our third annual “Fight With Elegance” benefit concert, on Wednesday, August 17th, 2011 from 6:00pm to 9:00pm. The event will be hosted by Elegantly Funky and because we have changed the venue to a country theme, it will be held at Dukes Country Bar & Grill, the #1 country bar in the NW, located on 146th and Division Street. As local business owners, we always feel that it is important to promote local musical artists. This year’s featured artist will be Cloverdayle, a performing and songwriting country duo from Oregon. This event will also include a funky, chic, country fashion show with all apparel provided by Elegantly Funky. Join us for this fun filled night of entertainment while enjoying a beverage and something from the menu at Dukes, all while supporting this wonderful cause.
This will be a night of fashion and music, bringing the community together for a cause that we are passionate about. Many of us have lost loved ones and friends to breast cancer, know survivors or maybe know someone fighting at this time. We created this event to help fight this indiscriminate disease.
Losing my mother to breast cancer was devastating. My husband having lost family members as well, we both felt the same passion to help those in need. Many women and men no longer have health insurance or the funds available to receive mammograms which in turn help with the early diagnosis of breast cancer. We feel that there is a tremendous need to provide these funds to our community, helping those in our own backyard. For this reason “Fight With Elegance” was created to “Help Save A Life”. With fundraising and our teaming up with Snow Cap Community Charities and a local imaging company, it has made it possible to provide payment vouchers for mammograms.
Community and business sponsorships help make the “Fight With Elegance” benefit concert possible. Many opportunities and levels of sponsorship are available and your contribution is very important. So, mark your calendar and join us in making the 2011 “Fight With Elegance” benefit concert for breast cancer a success.
